Audison SR 5.600 Amplifier
1010 Watts | 4 x 115W + 1 x 550W @ 2ohm | D-class
The Audison SR 5.600 series 5-channel amplifier with crossover packs remarkable power into ultra-compact dimensions (75W x 4 + 330W x 1 @ 4Ω). Part of the SR line, this amplifier has been perfected with the latest amplification devices, adopting Audison D-Class Technology (ADT) after extensive listening tests with professionals and enthusiasts. This technology significantly reduces the amplifier's size while preserving the exceptional audio performance that characterizes every Audison design.
In terms of electronic design, meticulous attention to every aesthetic and functional detail has resulted in a compact amplifier crafted from extruded aluminum with rounded corners, facilitating easy installation in narrow spaces. The generous heat sinks on the two short sides eliminate the need for internal cooling fans, preventing noise and dust accumulation.
True to tradition, the SR amplifiers excel in versatility. Each model includes a complete filter section suitable for various audio system configurations. Controls, protected by a satin-finished aluminum panel, are conveniently located on the top panel, ensuring easy access even after installation. When the system incorporates an Audison bit processor, the filter section can be entirely excluded.
The optional remote control VCR-S1 offers the ability to adjust the subwoofer level (-20 / + 6 dB) to match your musical preference. With the integration of Audison USS (Universal Speakers Simulator) technology in the high-level inputs, the SR amplifiers can be conveniently connected to OEM sources with 'speaker load detection,' enabling the audio outputs.
Audison SR 5.600 allows for multiple connectivity options, featuring balanced high-level inputs for OEM head unit speaker outputs and low-level RCA for aftermarket speakers. When using the high-level input, the ART (Automatic Remote On/Off) function can be enabled to control power-up with the head unit's power button. Additionally, a remote IN/OUT socket allows for control of multiple cascading amplifiers, turning on when needed. Through the PRE-OUT signal using the Speaker-IN socket, the amplifier can interface with OEM sources with only amplified outputs, facilitating system expansion.
